Through the years, I have always had a difficult time in deciding how to begin first entries. It doesn't matter whether I am deciding to begin:

  • A new journal

  • A YouTube video

  • A blog post

It’s always been a tough call on how to begin. As I am more of a perfectionist than I’d really like to be, the first blank page is always an intimidating matter.

How do I start? Whatever I write must be amazing and worthy of a Pulitzer Prize! Hmm.. am I choosing the right tone for my writing to begin with? How is the colouring? Am I using the best font known to mankind? Do I sound like a crazy person? Etc.

So rather than leaving myself paralyzed with ideas and fears of (non-existent) perfection, I have decided to just start.

Since what the majority of you will know about me is that my career is capturing women's boudoir photography I thought it appropriate to create this first entry. Time to give you all some more information about myself so that you can get to know me better!

  • Bite. I love this brand of lipsticks, they last so long!
  • Grey nail polish. Having a grey mani, nothing else makes me feel quite as polished.. Yes, the pun was intended.
  • Vietnamese food. I go for pho at least once a week.
  • Fleetwood Mac. I grew up listening to them, I couldn't tell you the number of times I've listened to Rumours. And holy moly they are amazing live!!
  • Tulle, feathers and any feminine fabric. Isn't the Oscar de la Renta gown stunning?
  • Mauve. I love the colour mauve, which is followed by dusty rose as a close second.
  • Hexagons. In case you haven't already gathered, I am rather partial to this six sided shape - especially when it comes in this form!
  • Lace. I love lace. It seemed the most appropriate to include what might be the most beautiful black lace bra ever. "I burn, I pine, I perish!"

That’s enough about me now. I can’t wait to hear from you all and look forward to being able to work with all of you beauties!
